Wikki Tourists of Bauchi are back at the summit of the Nigeria
Professional Football League table after their 2-1 win over MFM FC on
Sunday.
It was Godwin Obaje who scored the two goals for Wikki on Sunday;
first heading in the ball off an assist by Mustapha Ibrahim in the 18th
minute.
The striker was on hand again in the 36th minute to complete his
brace as he doubled Wikki’s lead when he poked in the ball from a
goalmouth melee.
Though MFM through Austine Ogunye pulled one back in the second half,
it was not enough to deny Wikki maximum points in the Match Day 31 tie.
